If it is unsure, it will not add it
Entries the AI is not confident about wait in the approval queue. If a category comes out wrong you write your own rule, logging the same expense twice gets flagged, and unusual spending is caught on its own.
Bulk approvalApprove, edit, or delete queued entries one by one or all at once.
Default behaviourYou choose whether an entry is saved straight away or sent for approval first.
Category rulesPin matches like “whole foods → Groceries” from Category rules, or tap Always after a correction. A one-off edit does not change later entries. Rules run before the AI does.
Duplicate guardLog something twice and you get a “similar transaction” notice; one tap merges them and drops the copy. Rescanning a receipt is caught the same way.
Unusual spendingCategories that run above your three-month average are flagged in Stats.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
No. The first time you open the app you can tap “Continue without an account” and start adding expenses as a guest. When you decide to keep it, you register with Google and everything you added as a guest moves into your permanent account. Two things worth knowing: partner sharing requires an account, and guest data is deleted if you never save the account and stay inactive for 14 days.
