Terms of Use and Subscription Terms

Expensiv is a personal budget app for logging and tracking expenses. It does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice; amounts, categories, and dates extracted by AI may be wrong — checking before saving is your responsibility.

• A valid email is required to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• The app is not directed at children under 13.
• You may permanently delete your account anytime via Settings → Account → Delete account (details).

The free tier includes 30 transaction entries total (manual, voice, document / AI). When the allowance ends, existing records stay read-only; new entries require Expensiv Pro. Partner mode and settle balance remain available on Free. Pro unlocks unlimited entries, a higher daily AI quota, events, subscription and installment tracking, personal debts, and CSV export. Sharing a joint event with your partner requires active Pro on both accounts; the partner link itself does not require Pro.

• Expensiv Pro is sold monthly or yearly. Current price is shown on the purchase screen and on Google Play.
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription auto-renews. If you do not turn it off at least 24 hours before the period ends, you are charged again for the same term.
• Cancel anytime via Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; Pro stays active until then.
• Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription; cancel separately in Google Play.

When Pro ends, none of your data is deleted. Your account returns to Free:

• Expenses, stats, and budgets remain as they are.
• Events, personal debts, subscription and installment plans stay viewable and deletable; adding or editing new ones requires Pro.
• Saved subscription plans are paused — they do not create automatic transactions. When you return to Pro they continue from that day; the gap is not backfilled.
• Installment plans are also paused (no new expenses written). Missed installments are recorded when you return to Pro.
• Manual entry and AI use again follow Free limits.

Purchases go through Google Play, so refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy and are handled there. For billing errors you may also email support@expensiv.net.

• You may not use the app for illegal purposes.
• Automated/excessive requests, reverse engineering, or bypassing security controls are prohibited.
• We may suspend access if you violate these terms.

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records and decisions based on them. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages.
